Combining Faith and Fiction
Allison says that faith is a big part of her life. So is reading for enjoyment. The two are difficult to separate, so when she reads she expects to find faith in the story. That’s why she considers herself a Christian fiction author. The two can be completely intertwined.
“Christian suspense often loses the suspense. I don’t want to know in chapter 1 that everything is going to be okay. There’s nothing wrong with happily ever after. I just want people to question, ‘maybe there won’t be.’” - Allison Pearl on Christian fiction
